Founder
Glen Gilzean
Glen Gilzean founded Flourishing after a career centered on turning financial discipline into opportunity.
At the Central Florida Urban League, he helped lead the organization out of approximately $1.2 million in debt. At the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District, he launched the Buy Local initiative, expanding participation in public procurement while driving measurable savings. As Orange County Supervisor of Elections, he introduced new approaches to fiscal discipline, voter education, transparency, and youth engagement.
Those experiences helped shape the philosophy behind Flourishing: sound financial decisions should create new opportunities for people and communities.
